There is so much content to play when you reach level 80 in Guild Wars 2! But, where should you start? Start Raiding or should I do Dungeons first?!This vide
Ultimately, the hero point system is fine, it works and rewards players who have spent time across other areas of the game prior. Newer players will require additional time to unlock, but the way it is set up means they will access everthing as a natural part of playing the game without excessive time gating. 2.
Yes but you do get hero points from leveling up (to certain levels) which is what the scroll does. You're thinking of Tomes of Knowledge no longer granting skill points and instead spirit shards. OP has a weird hero point deficit from the skill pt to hero pt conversion.
Looking for advice on a fresh 80 Guardian. I finally hit level 80 after a couple of weeks of levelling. As such, I have unlocked the elite specializations. Up until this point, I have been using greatswords. I am a LONG way away from raids and other high-end PvE content. I mostly just want to explore the world, fight world bosses, doing fun
With Tehs trails, I found the best combo is the Tehs hero points trails + tekkit with only the wp's checks. It shows the basic WP trails and HP oddshoots - you could skip or cut across bits that have no Hewro points. I don't think their is any modules with just waypoints going only to hero points. Not in base / core maps anyway. Moonlight-Dreamer.

The first thing I did after reaching level 80 and completing story for first time was explore the whole map Targetting map completion of core tyria followed by each and every map in game.
To actually accomplish something with this, it seems like you'd need to either buy a lot of them or manually unlock most of the Hero Points on that character - using a few scrolls for the difficult/undesirable ones. Either way it costs you something to properly make use of these. To me, we already have way point unlocks, and level 80 boosts.
If that's the case, then your experience goes into remaining Hero Points to fully upgrade Specializations. I dont play PvP or World v World though. I guess the excess XP serves related purpose. Once you're level 80 your specializations are already maxed; if you don't have HoT, you don't have elites so at level 80 you've got all the points you need.
