Posted March 28, 2012. Hi, I have a 1.8TDCi Titanium (2007, 57 reg) with automatic headlights, and was wondering where the sensor is located, as when the lights come on after going through a tunnel etc, they stay on and do not go off. I have tried to turn the lights off and then back on to the auto switch, but they still stay on.
Using this app, I reset the FLCM (Front Light Control Module), and the BCM (Body Control Module). Once reset, I ran "tests" which FORscan does, similar to the Ford Service software at dealerships, and performs a number of lighting and software tests - it revealed no issues and turned the headlight back on.
Country. 23 Dec 2009. #3. I have a later model with Xenons but the adjustment should be the same. 1 of the screws adjusts the light left to right and the other adjusts up and down. It does take several turns before you notice the lights adjusting. Face the car at a wall approx 20 metres away and adjust until the light hits the wall.
Mark the centre line of car (ford badge) mark the centre of each head lights bulb (same distance from centre line and each same distance off the floor) Drive straight back about 7/8 metres, if you have a clean cut off for your lights that the kick up to the left must start no further then the centre point of the light or slightly to the left

Thought it to be a glitch but has happened four times today (well 8 when powering up and then when disabling the Ghost. It seems it happens with other ford models but the forums date back over 2
If both of your headlights are not working and the fuse is not blown, you should experiment with the relay. The most basic way to do this is to shake it: if you hear rattling inside of the relay, this likely means that the relay has experienced failure. Discolored terminals on the relay can also be a red flag. If your headlights are not working
Using the tape mark about the centre line of the beams on the wall/door. To mark the horizontal centre line, place the first piece of tape directly above the top of the headlight pattern on the driver’s side and then do the same for the other headlight on the other side. Next, you will need to mark the vertical lines.
